Check the source page for Litestream-1.3RC2, which fixes an annoying bug on RH and Fedora systems. Let us know if you find any new problems, or have good luck with this candidate.

...don't fix it!
The litestream team is still here, and our software is still stable, hence the relative radio silence. Each member of the team has ideas for future enhancements to the litestream product, but we're not in any hurry to mess with a good thing. If you've got a feature you'd like to implement, by all means join the mailing lists and let us know about it. » 1682 comments | read more | 16236 reads

Oops. Turns out GoDaddy's domain expiration email makes SpamAssassin all assassin-like. The domain expired about ten days ago and GoDaddy parked it
28-Jul-2003 15:18:10 UTC. We've renewed it for five years. So, five years from now when this happens again, you'll know why. Litestream.org should hopefully resolve again as soon as the root servers are updated. In the meantime, we're still here, even if you have to go to litestream.sf.net to find us. Thanks to Tano Michael Fotang for quickly bringing this to our attention and thanks to Rick Bradley for getting the renewal taken care of so quickly.UPDATE 20030801: litestream.org is back in business. » 3991 comments | 26565 reads

Get it while it's hot! Litestream is provided by the developers in the form of a source tarball. We would be happy to work with package maintainers who wish to produce binary distributions of litestream. Please inquire on the litestream-devel mailing list if you would like to package litestream. The release is tagged as LITESTREAM_1_2_RELEASE in CVS and a LITESTREAM_1_2 branch has been created for any future point releases. Read on for the press release!
Addendum: A new tarball has been uploaded to correct a slight release engineering oversight. The version number in the tarball originally released still contained the Release Candidate revision number. This has been corrected in the new release tarball. The MD5 checksum file has been updated to reflect the new tarball's checksum. » 5538 comments | read more | 17386 reads

It's been a long night but I'm done with all of my CVS wrangling. The project CVS repo is now caught up with our development efforts. It's release time. We've just cut a release candidate off of new CVS repo and you can download it here. Please, test it out, and report any bugs!

I have finished importing the original Gene Kan litestream sources into CVS and updated the LICENSE on those sources to reflect the license change. I am currently working on importing on changes since Gene's final release into CVS, at which point we will see about cutting a release around here! I know, I know: finally, right?

Welcome to the new website of the litestream project. We're doing our best to fill it with content in the next few weeks. Please bear with us while we work to better document our software.
